A Gaelic SUMMER
HOW SUMMER SHOULD Be
When most people think classical music, they think concert hall, tuxedos, and standing ovations. When we think of classical music, we think of bars, booze, and beavers.
In 2017, we launched our first pub crawl and summer tour series: A Gaelic Summer.
The summer program features 17th, 18th, and 19th century drinking songs and dance tunes from Scotland, Ireland, England, and Wales; live-band sing-along karaoke; dancing; and, at least for the pub crawl portion, food and booze.

It’s an all out, foot-stomping, face-stuffing, drink-guzzling jam.
It's the way classical music should be.
And of course, we had an official mascot for the summer: BBEaver. New to America, she explored many famous sites around Chicago ahead of the BBE's pub crawl (June 14-16). You can follow her adventures by clicking on her image below.
