Ann Chen is Senior Counsel for social media and digital assets at Abbott, supporting the company’s social and digital objectives and teams globally. Prior to Abbott, Ann worked as trademark counsel for a global consumer goods company in the chocolate, confectionery, food, and beverage industries. She also worked at two Chicago law firms -- Kirkland & Ellis and Goldberg Kohn -- in the areas of intellectual property, advertising, and litigation. Ann clerked for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan in the Southern District of Florida (now on the 11th Circuit). She graduated from Yale University and The University of Michigan Law School. Ann is also a board member of the Asian American Bar Association of Chicago Law Foundation. An avid music lover, she enjoyed playing piano and performing the violin with her school orchestras during her youth, and took up the guitar as an adult.
