Arbie Karasek

Arbie Karasek, of Lombard, has been dancing with THHD for 16 years, and teaching as an Associate for 6 years. She has spent the last 4 years in Montreal, QC, studying nursing at McGill University. She graduated this June. While away, she danced with Jennifer Stephenson at the Stephenson School of Highland Dance. Arbie has competed throughout the United States, Canada, and Scotland, representing the Midwest at the US national championships 2010-2012 (placing top 6 in 2010 and 2011), and representing Quebec to the Canadian championships in 2015. Arbie was also a member of the Highland Dance team at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August 2015. Although competition and schoolwork has been her focus lately, performing in Chicago is her passion, and she's ecstatic to be back full time!
