Carl frank

Carl Frank, has received praise for his “stentorian baritone” and “elegant inflection.”  Mr. Frank has appeared throughout the Midwest with the Florentine Opera Company, Opera Grand Rapids and Arbor Opera Theater; and has been a featured soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Symphony, Bach Collegium Ft. Wayne, Oak Park Heritage Chorale, Community Chorus of Detroit, and the Lakeview Symphony.  Favorite operatic roles include: Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Doncairo (Carmen), Sid (Albert Herring), Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte), John Brooke (Little Women), and Gianni Schicchi (Gianni Schicchi).  Also an active ensemble singer, Mr. Frank performs with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Lyric Opera of Chicago chorus, the Grant Park Festival Chorus, Chicago a cappela, Music of the Baroque, The William Ferris Chorale, Bella Voce, The Oriana Singers, Schola Antiqua of Chicago, and Musik Ekklesia.  Mr. Frank holds degrees from the University of Michigan and DePauw University.
