Jeremy Ward, who'll be playing in the A Gaelic Summer program, and Tim Macdonald, the US National Fiddle Champion, invited her to their house concert celebrating their upcoming album. BBEaver beat the crowds to the Adler Planetarium today and met a very nice man who agreed to pose with her for a commemorative photo. (They have so much in common - like being inanimate - that they decided to go out on a date later this month.) You can be a third wheel if you #followthebeaver to A Gaelic Summer. 

After spending a day at the Adler Planetarium, BBEaver was happy to accept an invitation for afternoon tea with Megan and Marty, more members of our extended BBE family. After eating the best fish n' chips at The Duke of Perth, BBEaver made her way to Shedd Aquarium to see the fish (and to apologize for eating their cousins). She was a little tired after walking all the way there. Short legs make for a long journey, you know! #followthebeaver to A Gaelic Summer!

BBEaver was up early this morning to take a special trip to Texas! Gaelic beavers never go to Texas - it's too hot! - but she was invited to a very special wedding! She was running a bit late, so she called an Uber. Eleazar was nice enough to give her some driving lessons on the way to O'Hare Airport.

After Brandi's wedding yesterday, BBEaver stopped over in Dallas for a cooking lesson with MasterChef contestant Ben Starr. Since she doesn't have opposable thumbs, she was a bit limited in what she could do. Oh well. (#followthebeaver to A Gaelic Summer in June!)

BBEaver had a great time cooking with the amazing Ben Starr, but unfortunately, not having opposable thumbs meant she screwed up in the kitchen. So, Ben invited a bunch of friends, and BBEaver, out to the famous Joe T. Garcia's in Ft. Worth for a farewell dinner. BBEaver hops a train tomorrow morning, heading back to Chicago for A Gaelic Summer... but not before some fajitas and a really, really strong margarita! #followthebeaver

Sometimes, you need to take a time out, and so BBEaver headed to the Lincoln Park Conservatory where she stopped to smell the roses... and lilies... cacti... something called a caesalpinia pulcherrima... Just another fantastic site in Chicago to catch as we #followthebeaver to A Gaelic Summer!
